Design is powerful, and subjective. It can change how we feel about something in a heartbeat. That’s why finding the right creative partner matters. But creative agency fees can be way out of reach for most small businesses.
Meanwhile, sub-par design isn’t good for business either. After all, there’s a reason someone said “If you think it’s expensive to hire a good designer, try hiring a bad one!” So, what’s the solution?
My name is Christian Sparrow. I worked at creative agencies and tech start-ups in San Francisco for about a decade. In 2010, I moved back to Cape Cod — where I’m from — to start a cafe and lifestyle brand called ‘Sunbird’ with my wife, J’aime.
Since then, I’ve also been helping small businesses like ours create and position their brands to stand out so they can connect, contribute, and thrive in the communities they serve.

Rates
I work hourly, and by project.
My hourly rate is $150.
Branding projects begin at $6k.
New websites begin at $5k.
A website refresh begins at $4k.
Client budgets must be in sync with their requests for consideration.
Discounted rates are considered for non-profit engagements.
Scheduling
I typically schedule projects well in advance so no client gets rushed or under-served.
Project timelines range from weeks to months depending on their scope and general availability.
Rush projects are taken on a case-by-case basis. If you’re in a jam, let’s talk. I may be able to help.
My rush rate is $175/hr.
